Aidan Davis Britain’s Got Talent audition and dancing prowess at such a young age was a standout, even in this season of strong contenders and BGT hopefuls who strive to win the competition that has already produced a formidable contender and worldwide overnight star, Scottish singer Susan Boyle.

The Aidan Davis Britain’s Got Talent audition thrilled the audience and the BGT judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Kelly Brook. He danced to the smash hit by rapper Flo Rida, ‘Low,’ which also features rapper T-Pain.

Simon Cowell had high praise for the young dancer: ‘You are super talented.’

Piers Morgan said, ‘When George won last year we all feared we’d get millions of little Georges trying their luck who wouldn’t be as good as him, but I think you are.’

Now with the Aidan Davis Britain’s Got Talent audition, the young 11-year-old dancer has proven he is more than a George Sampson wannabe. He joins the growing list of noteworthy BGT contestants, including other children who are collectively challenging the adults; two 10-year-old singers Natalie Okri, singing Alicia Keys’ No One and Hollie Steel, singing ‘I Could Have Danced All Night’ — plus the 12-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi singing the Michael Jackson classic, Who’s Loving You. He ranks alongside Shaun Smith whom Simon Cowell called a young Mick Hucknall, and Greg Pritchard, the self-described ‘male soprano’ who sang Nessum Dorma and the 37-year-old pizza delivery man, Jamie Pugh who sang ‘Bring Him Home’ from Les Miserables.

Next week, Saturday May 23, 2009 the BGT semi-finals. Returning to the stage will be Scottish singer, Susan Boyle, who sang I Dreamed A Dream to instant global acclaim. She faces the talented field of contenders as all seek to become the Britain’s Got Talent winner, which brings with it a cash prize of £100,000 and the opportunity to perform for the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.

As a biography, Aidan Davis is 11 years old. He is from Birmingham, England. Aidan Davis pictures himself as a dancer, although he has never studied dance formally. Prior to his audition, he told Ant and Dec that last year’s BGT winner George Sampson was his inspiration and that he began practicing his dancing ever since.
