Susan Boyle winner? The 2009 Britain’s Got Talent has been a remarkable season, and the Saturday BGT final reveals the BGT 2009 winner, ending weeks of speculation. The global superstar who emerged from the BGT auditions, Susan Boyle (picture above) is one of the 10 Britain’s Got Talent 2009 finalists. The Britain’s Got Talent 2009 winner is announced on the live results show on May 30, 2009, hosted by Ant and Dec with judges are Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan.
Who are the Britain’s Got Talent 2009 finalists? Here is the list among which we will find the Britain’s Got Talent Winner 2009. (Watch video of all of them here.)
Susan Boyle, 47-year-old singer from Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland who by now needs no introduction as she has become a global phenomena, an international star, and viral video of her initial audition is among the most viewed in history. Susan Boyle winner….She is still a favorite.
Hollie Steel, 10-year-old singer performed remarkably in the initial audition only to falter and suffer a breakdown in the semi-final. Given a chance to perform again, the Hollie Steel semi-final performance brought her to the finals and makes her a strong contender.
Shaheen Jafargholi, a 12-year-old singer from Wales who delivered a semi-final performance of the Dreamgirls iconic song “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going’ that won high praise from judges.
Shaun Smith, 17-year-old singer and rugby playing student from Lichfield with a soulful and mature voice beyond his years. Simon Cowell compared him to Mick Hucknall.
Aidan Davis, 11-year-old dancer who has delivered two exciting and confident performances, initially leading judges to say he is equal in talent to the 2008 Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson.
Diversity, a dance troupe from Essex and East London whose members range in age from 12 to 25 and whose semi-final performance exceeded their excellent initial audition.
Flawless, a dance troupe another strong dance group that is one to watch; the 11-member group from London has a mission is to inspire children from troubled neighborhoods to “chase the dream, not the competition.”
2 Grand, John Neill, 76, and granddaughter 12-year-old Sallie Lax, a singing duo from Doncaster. Their semi-final performance and heartrending backstory (Neill is recently widowed and found solace in singing with his granddaughter), make them a sentimental favorite.
Julian Smith, 39, saxophonist from Birmingham who has had a livelong dream. Self-taught and in a competition that has seen contestants battle nerves has proven cool and steady in delivering stellar performances.
Stavros Flatley, 41-year-old Demtrios and Michalakis Andreas Demetriou, 13, father and son comedy dancers have delivered wildly popular, crowd pleasing performances of unique Greek dancing.
Susan Boyle winner….or someone else? It all comes to a grand final on May 30, 2009 as the Britain’s Got Talent 2009 winner receives a cash prize of £100,000 and will perform for the Queen at the Royal Variety Show.
