Madonna is known for her spunk, her carefree attitude and her innovative ideas. For second single off her the career-spanning Celebration, the songstress has teamed up with an unlikely collaborator rap superstar Lil Wayne.
Two weeks before the actual release date of September 29th, Madonna’s new song titled Revolver has been leaked via the Internet.
Madonna has collaborated with many of industry’s hot musicians like Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Pharrell Williams, but now the songstress has joined forces with rap star Lil Wayne. The result of their union turned out to be a track that almost seemed to me as a forced way to be hip and relevant. However, the song reminds me actually a lot like Britney Spears’ “Radar”. Is the Queen of Pop taking inspiration from Miss Spears per chance? Interesting thought!
At any rate, this particular track was initally leaked in May as a demo recording, but this version includes the sound of synths and electro pop that musicians have been toying with as of late.
Revolver will be on Madonna’s upcoming greatest hits collection titled Celebration. The album includes hit singles such as “Justify My Love,” “Borderline,” “Lucky Star” and “Papa Don’t Preach.” Should be a good album for reminiscing of how great Madonna was back in the 90’s!
